Easy Apple Crumble

Serves 4

For the filling:

600g (3 apples) cored and sliced

540g (3-4 pears) cored and sliced (or substitute with mango or feijoa)

1 Tbsp Castor sugar

1 tsp grated nutmeg

1 tsp cinnamon

For the Crumble:

½ cup gluten-free self-raising flour

¾ cup rolled oats

¾ cup desiccated coconut

75g butter

¾ cup brown sugar (Or less to taste)

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Put apples, pears, spices and castor sugar into a microwave-safe dish and microwave on high for 5 minutes, covered, stirring once.

Combine remaining dry ingredients into a bowl, rub in butter, and stir in sugar. Sprinkle on top of fruit, flatten down with your hands, and cook at 180°C for 15-20 minutes until firm and golden on top.

 

Serve with your favorite ice cream or yoghurt.
